ART VOUVEAU theater group / Fidelio Cultural CenterFLOATING is the new play of the theater group Art Vouveau. It is an original silent project that will result from the team’s collaboration with the festivals “A Festival in Samothrace” (Greece), “Buffer Fringe Festival” (Cyprus) and “M.I.M. Festival” (France). The title means “floating” and is influenced by a common childhood thought that islands float in the sea, including all their trees, rivers, stones, houses and people. Even the story. The Art Vouveau team is inspired by narratives of people living in remote areas on the themes of isolation and loneliness, their relationship with nature and climate change. It is presented as a work in progress.

EUTOPIA theater company / Court of Arsinoe, PaleopolisA performance – action, lasting 60 minutes, designed in such a way as to exploit and use the absolutely essential expressive means of the theater: the body and the voice. An actress (Pythia) and a musician with various instruments (percussion, wind instruments, etc.) form the conductors of the text and the music, exploring and developing a dialogue that sometimes resembles a dance, sometimes a ritual. So what would the Pythia cry over the ruins of philosophy and beauty today? What would it fund people who don’t even know it exists? This is what “Use” deals with, a delusional monologue of a woman who comes out of time to converse with the man of today.
Pythia: Evelina Arapidi
