Suitable for non-Greek speakersA ritual for female self-determination set against the backdrop of hot irons, cigarettes, and market carts, inspired by the resistance cores of the oppressed female body and its journey toward the longed-for liberation. A look at our ancestors, grandmothers, mothers, and all the women who raised women, through the heritage of their bodies that carry love, will to live, fatigue, burns from irons, scents of hand creams and bleach, and the need for liberating dances.

Eleni Dafni
Primary School of KamariotissaA performance about the issue of child abuse. Nikolas, a primary school student and member of a children’s orchestra, experiences a painful abuse by an adult he trusted. With the support of his music teacher, he finds the courage to speak up and regain his voice. His message is clear: “Our body belongs to us – we speak until we are heard.”

Nikolaos Fardys Cultural Center - Chora SamothrakiInside the warehouse of an old video club, two friends work feverishly on their big plans. Vasilis dreams of going to America and, to get a residence permit, arranges a fake marriage. He asks Spyros to help him prepare for the interview, where he must convince the American authorities that his relationship is real. Spyros, trying to keep open the video club he inherited from his family, plans to create a cinephile club. Through interrogation rehearsals, imaginary scenes, and movies that bring memories and hopes to life, the two friends confront lies and truth, the allure of escape, and the end of an era of innocence. A play about friendship, dreams put to the test, and the fantasy of distant places.

From the authentic melodies of Tsitsanis and Vamvakaris to lesser-known gems of the era, their program promises an unforgettable experience.
